I really am a friend of comic book movies and leave, even though the general's my way, since like 5 am and just be inspired to fast. In "The Green Hornet" (2011), I screwed down as a precaution so my expectations (and because I Seth Rogen is not particularly guess) and put me in the preview.
originated the character of a radio series of the 30s, which later became a comic series, which ended in the 90s and has since been reactivated by Dynamite Entertainment. It also produced some films in the 60s and there was also a TV series.
How was the strip now? I must say I'm thrilled.
Jay Chou as an unnamed sidekick makes a great job, also because his character is one who stands in the spotlight.
In the trailer you could see already that they have put much emphasis on humor and there could be legitimate concern that the full seriousness flutes were received. Somehow creates "The Green Hornet" and the balancing act remains in full balance. Above all, the story that describes not super heroes but ordinary spinner, adds variety and credibility.
The story is basically told quickly.
a rich snob, son of a newspaper publisher gets donated after his death, the newspaper empire. As he has in fact done just party, he does not really know what to do with it until he Kato, a former employee who meets who has a lot of gray matter and technically still a good fighter. Together they decide out of a beer mood, stir up the underworld of the city, occur but not as heroes but real villains. That's kind of stupid and makes them not necessarily make life easier, but hey, the story more exciting.
The female lead is on the now visibly aged Cameron Diaz. I do not like, but in this film she is ok. More specifically, they even surprised me, because it copes with her role believable with a few exceptions. Oh yes, we still have Sir Christoph Waltz, who finally may mimic a villain. As Chudnofsky, Bloodnofsky later, he shines once more, and with his charm the figure to appear funny and grim. A few bad guys were so nice and still pretty angry. Special Praise also goes to the soundtrack, which is absolutely full of atmosphere and rock. The a team-esque (we include ourselves and make things cool cars and weapons) scenes are thus particularly well.
Seth Rogen as a simple-minded goal is like always added, but convincing in the subject. The smaller brawls with Jay Chou are choreographed and arranged super intelligent. The only thing missing really is a great female performer.
we reduce "The Green Hornet" to what it is, it is called an action comedy. Therefore, great emphasis was laid on to make it appear in today's times still special.
Half Bullet Time - Scenes liked I do not so much because they looked like but very computer-animated. The bulk of the action scenes were real, but then damn well staged. The king's discipline, the car chase master, the film can courageously and with the Inspector Gadget-esque features the cart points properly and provide surprises.
The film is absolutely charming, has some Knallergags an average, but technically top story and converted a lot of powerful imagery. should
the action fan, and the Normalo Genrefan "The Green Hornet" respond if one does not go right from the start with an anti-consumer in the strip. Sure, there are logic errors, but it is fortunately the most to me Humor dreaded Blödel not.
This month waiting for "Tron" (2011). Heavy Metal!
