request to the Daily Gazette about the poor reporting and censorship in IV-specific articles

To: Tamedia, Editor Daily Gazette editorial Tagesanzeiger.ch

Subject: Article" Otto sent to "

Ladies and gentlemen

I have a question to the article" Otto shall judge "in the Tages Anzeiger of 15 December. The article is described, Otto Ineichen that would help the disability in vocational integration of 16,000 IV-pensioners, 6 in the IV-Revision lose their livelihoods. Mentioned

in the article that had already aufgegleist Otto Ineichen many other integration projects, such as job-Passerelle, Speranza and Reap, and therefore have extensive experience and the necessary network in this area. Not a word was mentioned, however, that Ineichen major flops with the above-mentioned projects. The job footbridge, with the Ineichen during the 5th IV revision 3000 still did not want to integrate disabled persons located in the IV could, for example, incorporated in the end only about 30 people. Against this background, but the question should be allowed, as Mr. Ineichen for then will integrate 16,000 pensioners who receive disability pensions for years (and no longer fit for the job market). Against this background, the question arises as to whether the job walkway was not just a propaganda vehicle for the 5th enforce IV revision to, and whether it is Ineichen's renewed commitment is not a cheap political trick of this kind further. But the article mentions not even the failure of the recent Ineichschen projects, which would have been required for these critical issues.

The claim Ineichen, you could 60% of invalidity pension (about 151'000 people!) is integrated, however, so absurd that a critical demands would have done here is added no sense. This statement could have been my opinion may not print to Mr Ineichen not make in public ridicule.

My real question is: How come these shortcomings in the reporting of Tamedia media in general and that of the day scoreboard in particular? It is not the first time that I noticed in a day-Gazette article about disability insurance serious substantive shortcomings and simply wrong figures and facts. In addition, I noticed that Reader's comments that to identify such defects are not enabled tagesanzeiger.ch in principle, and the comments of many IV-specific items often not available. Again, I ask myself: Why is that? Is

this is search error, or that the editorial staff of the Tages-Anzeiger, or even a group Tamedia interest in supporting a policy against the disabled? I can actually imagine the latter is difficult, since the day it would jeopardize his journalistic credibility indicator and its position as one of the largest circulation newspapers in the German-speaking Switzerland, if publicized these events, and would be investigated by anyone closer.

to answer my burning questions, I thank you in advance.

Sincerely

David Siems

Addendum: The answer

Dear Mr. Siems

Thank you for your feedback. Please excuse the fact that I answer only now, yesterday I was absent.

to your questions:

If the comment function was not added to the article, Otto Ineichen, I've simply forgotten. This was no intention for such a topic would be the comment function to include secure.

comments will be subject in principle if they satisfy the following criteria listed in each entry: "By submitting the comment, the reader agrees with the following conditions: The editor reserves the right to comment not to publish. This is especially true for defamatory, racist, unprofessional,-topic comments, or those with in dialect or foreign languages. Comments Fancy names or obviously false names are not published either. "If the Comments feature in posts about the IV is often lacking, this can not be willed. Also, comments that indicate deficiencies in reporting, not left out systematically.

The article on the request of the Federal Office for Social Security at Otto Ineichen may seem one-sided. Indeed, I have not been studied in detail, whether it is Ineichen's commitment to "another cheap political stunt", but have confined myself to announce that the BSV work with Ineichen in the integration of those receiving IV wishes and quotes both (Ineichen and BSV) and a possible collaboration.

Please feel free to contact me directly in the future if something in the coverage of IV review (or other topics) notice: claudia.blumer (at) day-anzeiger.ch.

Sincerely

Claudia Blum
